Account Deletion Policy

Last Updated: July 31, 2026

At Digital Labours, we value your privacy and trust. We want to ensure that you have complete control over your personal data. This Account Deletion Policy describes how you can delete your account, what happens to your data, and under what conditions we retain certain transaction records.

1. How to Request Account Deletion

You can request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data using either of the following methods:

  • Directly In-App: Navigate to Account Settings > Security & Privacy > Delete Account. Follow the on-screen prompts to authenticate and submit your request.
  • Via Email Request: Send an email from your registered email address to info.digitallabours@gmail.com with the subject line "Request Account Deletion." Please include your registered mobile number.

2. Types of Data Deleted

Once your account deletion request is processed, the following personal data will be permanently purged or anonymized from our active databases:

  • Profile Information: Full name, email address, phone number, profile pictures, and business/professional registrations.
  • Saved Data: Delivery addresses, search histories, location preferences, and saved partner profiles.
  • Communication Data: In-app chat history with customer support, workers, or store partners.
  • Device Tokens: Mobile device identifiers and push notification tokens.

3. Data Retention Requirements

Please note that under certain regulatory, tax, or legal frameworks, we are required to retain specific transaction data even after your account is deleted:

  • Financial & Payout Records: Invoice details, booking transaction records, payouts to Labour Partners, and payments received are retained for a period of up to 7 years to comply with Indian tax laws.
  • Active Disputes: If your account is associated with a pending refund, dispute, or active audit, deletion will be put on hold until the case is resolved.
  • Security & Anti-Fraud: Anonymized usage data and system log records may be retained for security and fraud prevention analysis, without referencing your personal identity.

4. Process Timeline

Once a request is received:

  • Deactivation: Your account is immediately deactivated and rendered inaccessible. You will not be able to log in or receive bookings.
  • Purge Duration: Complete deletion or anonymization of your data across our production systems and backups will be completed within 30 business days.

5. Revocation of Request

If you submitted the request by mistake, you have a grace period of 7 calendar days to cancel the request. Contact our support team immediately at info.digitallabours@gmail.com to reinstate your account.
